Europe's Biggest Ferris Wheel Is In Salthill

Europe's biggest Ferris wheel has arrived in Salthill. The massive fairground ride is presented as an attraction at Perks Leisureland by Russell & Nora Perks. The ride, which stands 50 meters in height, will be officially opened on Tuesday 20th July 2004 from 12 noon to 1:30 by Alderman Catherine Connolly in aid of the Special Children's Association. This type of party day has taken place each July for the past 20 years organized by Russell & Nora Perks in their amusement park at Leisureland.
