Perks fun fair boasts the most impressive line up of major fun fair attractions ever assembled in Galway, including attractions from Germany, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, France, England and Ireland. There are a host of attractions that are sure to please even the most seasoned thrill seekers who dare to be suspended upside down, turned over or whisked through the air.

As its signature ride the 50 metre Giant Ferris Wheel is a spectacle of colour and light (with 10,000 coloured bulbs) especially at night. The ornate detail is truly beautiful. The view from the top is guaranteed to take your breath away.

Also appearing at this year's event is the Waltzer, although a traditional fun fair attraction, the sensation of the Waltzer is as popular as ever and will undoubtedly be enjoyed by many visitors.

We also have the Mega Dance, which is sure to entertain young and old alike.

Included in the line up is Europe's No.1 attraction this year which is sure to make your hair stand on end, the truly terrifying "Mega Drop", which raises its passenger's 150ft into the air than rushes them to the ground like a free falling elevator. From England we present the Kangro and we challenge anyone to keep a straight face on this crazy ride.

For those who would like to experience their fun fair experience at a less exhilarating pace the Mirror Maze is quite appealing.

A spin on the Ghost Train will excite you with ghostly apparitions and spooky characters.

Guaranteed to be a big hit with young and old alike is our Bumper track. The experience of the 'Bumpers' remains many peoples first experience of steering their own car! The object is to dodge less capable drivers who will invariably bump someone or cause a snarl up somewhere hence the nickname "Dodgems".

For the pure joy of every little girl and boy we have the very colourful No 1 Buggies. There are a host of other attractions for the younger children including the very smart "Toy Town" with buses that the kids really seem to enjoy.
